FASHION EXPOSED & preview, Australia`s leading fashion trade event, returns to Melbourne this August with one of the most unmissable events to date. The business hub of the fashion industry, FASHION EXPOSED & preview provides retailers throughout Australasia with access to over 1,500 labels across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, streetwear and much more. Colocated alongside the Bags & Accessories Fair – which will showcase the latest collections of bags, jewelry, belts, leather, luggage, and eyewear from brands such as Otazu at LIBERTA jewel, Samsonite, Storm Australia, and Spencer and Rutherford - FASHION EXPOSED is the most comprehensive event on the buying calendar. International Collections from Paris FASHION EXPOSED & preview is pleased to announce that a special group of designers will be visiting the fair this season. Coming straight from the runways of Paris, this exclusive collection of 15 French labels will be presented in preview and will be featured in a Salon Show on Sunday 29th at 1pm and Monday 30th at 12pm. Industry Initiatives The popularity of Debut the designer competition continues to grow and this season, expect to see the next round of new names to break into the industry. Fashion Exposed supports many areas of the fashion industry and over past seasons visual merchandising has become increasingly important to retailers across Australia. In praise of the skill and dedication that this profession requires, FASHION EXPOSED has launched the Spirit of the Season, the visual merchandising competition. Don`t miss live competitions between students and professionals taking place on Sunday and Monday at Fashion Exposed. Seminars and Workshops Offering visitors the chance to meet industry leaders and prepare for the season ahead, the popular Fashion Business Seminars will take place on Tuesday the 31st of August. Covering topics from increasing sales and customer loyalty to global trends and what to buy right now, there is a seminar to meet every need. Salon Shows and Live Look Books With two days of Salon Shows and Live Look Books taking place in the Allure (lingerie) and womenswear precincts visitors will have the opportunity to see the collections brought to life. To complete the offer, FASHION EXPOSED & preview, and the Bags and Accessories Fair will also run alongside the Australian Shoe Fair.
